Physiotherapy minus the bullsh*t
Have you ever been to Physiotherapy before and saw the therapist for less than 5 minutes? Spent more time with the assistant? Or on a god-for-saken machine? I have been treating as a physiotherapist long enough to hear those complaints over and over again. I am happy to inform you - that is NOT my approach.
Anyone who has trusted me with their treatment to date already knows that my no BS approach strictly involves ME - hands on for 30-40 minutes and YOU - committing to your mindful movement routine. With those two pieces of the puzzle along with a dash of fairy dust and the right mind set - together we can OVERCOME your injury and dysfunction.
Now let's get on with it and fix your sh*t.
A good Physiotherapist should spend far more time hands on with you than having you hooked up to a machine.

MINDFUL MOVEMENT IS THE BEST MOVEMENT
Manual therapy is a combination of hands on techniques used to treat musculoskeletal pain and injury by manipulating the tissues and joints. These techniques are used in order to improve mobility and function of the tissues and muscles.
Also known as dry needling or myofascial trigger point needling is a technique used to treat dysfunction of skeletal muscle and connective tissue. Research has shown it improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, normalizes dysfunction and accelerates rehab.
Shockwave is an acoustic wave which carries high energy to myoskeletal tissues with subacute, subchronic and chronic conditions. The energy promotes regeneration and reparative processes of the bones, tendons and other soft tissues.
Mindful movement is checking with your body to see what it is asking for and not forcing it beyond its current abilities. It is important to understand the foundations of movement, muscle overuse and underuse as well as the goal of selected activities or movement patterns.
